The award-winning 2009 documentary Anvil! The Story of Anvil propelled these lovably Spinal Tap-esque self-destructive Canadian headbangers from their respectable, hard-earned status as a band revered by the likes of Metallica, Motorhead and Guns N’ Roses to a heavy metal feel good story that has attracted an exponential amount of new fans to a heritage band.
The resurgent band is on tour for 2011 bringing their high-energy rock show to the Red Devil Lounge.
