HellaOakland Pop-Up Comedy Festival | March 6-7

SF may get all the love, but Oakland has a rich comedy scene and deserves a big spotlight.

HellaFunny and Funcheap are taking over the Copper Spoon and turning it into a secret pop-up comedy club for one weekend a month starting March 2020. Come enjoy some big laughs with some of Oakland’s (and the Bay Area’s) best comedians.

West Oakland Beer / Drink Special – Every month we’ll highlight a different East Bay beer or spirit – For March 2020 enjoy a pint of Old Kan Lager out of West Oakland + a shot of Dickel Rye whiskey for $12. Savings of $4 dollars.

Comedians from HellaFunny shows have been seen on NBC, ABC, Viceland, MTV, Netflix, Cobb’s, SF Sketchfest, Clusterfest and more. General Admission tickets at the door are $10, but you’ll get on our exclusive guest list here.

About Copper Spoon

Owners of Copper Spoon started as a food truck called Sassafras Seagrass in 2013. Vita Simone and Carmen Anderson always wanted to make the transition to bar and restaurant since Simone is an accredited bartender in Oakland. In 2015 they had the opportunity to do so when the historic Art’s Crab Shak was being sold. Copper Spoon opened in 2017 with an expansive 20 person bar and eclectic California comfort food menu.
