Amoeba Music: Free In-Store Mini Concerts

Amoeba Music regularly welcomes traveling and local artists for in-store performances at their San Francisco and Berkeley locations.

Hear your favorite artists for free often right before they hit the stage elsewhere in the Bay Area.

The Bay Area’s own Day Wave (aka Jackson Phillips) joins them at Amoeba SF for a live set and signing of Headcase/Hard to Read (out now on Grand Jury, available on CD & LP).

This new release combines 2015’s buzzy EP Headcase with the brand new EP Hard To Read, both available in physical form for the first time.

“I want people to hear Day Wave and feel the same feeling I get when I listen to the music I love,” he leaves off. “It gives you an emotional response—whether that’s sadness, nostalgia, or happiness. That’s what I try to create. If I can give that feeling to other people, it’s working.”
