SF’s “Conservatory of Flowers” Free First Tuesdays (Golden Gate Park)
Whether you’re a native San Franciscan, a visitor from the other side of the world, or a budding botanist, the Conservatory of Flowers located in Golden Gate Park, offers an intimate, up-close experience with nearly 2,000 species of rare, exotic and endangered plants from more than 50 different countries.
Opened in 1879, the wood and glass greenhouse is the oldest existing conservatory of its kind in the Western Hemisphere.

First Tuesday of Every Month
100 JFK Dr., Golden Gate Park, San FranciscoAdmission is normally free for SF residents ($10-13 for everyone else depending on the season), but it’s free to all visitors on the first Tuesday of every month.
The Conservatory will also continue offering free or reduced admission through Museums for All, a program to bring free or reduced admission to San Francisco residents who receive public benefits, including Medi-Cal and CalFresh.
