The 16th Edwardian Ball is an inimitable, description-defying, high camp, whimsical and surrealistic two-day festival – a living interpretation and celebration of the stories of the late macabre cult author, comic artist, illustrator and cartoonist Edward Gorey.

Ballroom dancing leads way to stunning performances both on and offstage in a collage of fashion, theatre, music, circus performance, and dance highlighted by an original stage performance of the Edward Gorey tale, “The Stupid Joke.” This is one of those events that if you live in San Francisco you need to attend at least once if your life.
Edwardian-era or steampunk costumes heavily encouraged
