Skatin’ Place | 6th Ave. and Kennedy Drive, San Francisco, CA
Enjoy a wonderful 4th of July 2012 on skates. Golden Gate Park will be closed to car traffic and we’ll be on a roll at Skatin’ Place, 6th Ave. an Kennedy Drive in the park a DIY outdoor roller rink on the north side of the park near 6th Ave.
D. Miles Jr., the GodFather of Skate will be providing the funk, disco and old school hits for you to join in the afternoon roller skating party. Bring something for the potluck or do our own thang. We’re firing up the barbecue pit at about 1:30 P.M. and skate until 6PM.
It’s free as is every Sunday skate in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
Nighttime Fireworks Skate: July 4, 2012 8pm | Ferry Building | FREE
After skating in the park, we will be heading down to the Ferry Building in San Francisco at 8PM. At 9PM we’re going to lead a roller disco party along San Francisco’s waterfront to Fisherman’s Wharf. We’ll have a booming portable sound system rolling with us as we bring the party to streets at Pier 39. Skates, bikes, anything with wheels can roll along with us. The pace will be casual. The price for admission is free!
