Santa Clara Convention Center Turns Into Our Newest Hospital
The Bay Area has a new temporary hospital. In preparation for the surge of COVID-19 patients, the California Air National Guard has transformed the Santa Clara Convention Center into a temporary medical facility.
The makeshift hospital can accommodate up to 250 patients who have tested positive for the virus, but are not in critical condition. The hospital is prepared to fill its beds as soon as next week as the cases of coronavirus are expect to soar.
