The first official trailer for The Matrix Resurrections, the fourth installment in The Matrix series, just landed, and it stars our favorite leading lady…. San Francisco.
According to SF Gate, the movie was filmed over 21 days in San Francisco in 2020. The studio paid over $420,000 to the SFPD for security and logistical support to keep locals safe as they performed high flying stunts over the city.
Check out the scenes featuring Keanu Reeves’ Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss’ Trinity going down the rabbit hole in our favorite city.
The film will be released theatrically and on HBO Max on December 22.
