Free Urban Hiking Tours (SF)

We offer donation-based small group hiking tours of San Francisco. Hikers will learn a little bit about San Francisco during short “history stops” while enjoying amazing views of the city. The tours are between 3.5 to 5 miles and will take between 1.5 to 2 hours. The hikes are moderately challenging. Currently, we are offering three different hiking tours:

(1) Western Addition to Corona Heights
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Fridays & Sundays: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

(2) Glen Park, Twin Peaks, and the Castro
Tuesdays: 9:30 AM – 11:15 AM
Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM

(3) Bernal Heights to the Castro
Thursdays: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Saturdays: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Hikers must book a spot on a tour on our website: http://www.sflesstravelled.com/book to ensure the group stays under capacity.

All meeting spots are easily accessible via public transportation. Details will be included in the confirmation e-mail.

We encourage all hikers to wear a mask and maintain some distance from one another.

Finally, we recommend wearing shoes you’re comfortable hiking in and bringing enough water (and maybe some snacks).
