Berkeley’s Halloween Parade and Costume Contest (2022)

If you’ve got little ones who are interested in parades and costumes, put them in costume and join others from around Berkeley for our annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest.

Halloween Parade and Costume Contest
Monday, October 31, 2022, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Frances Albrier Community Center, San Pablo Park, 2800 Park St
Registration is recommended
Free

Costume Parade – 4:00 pm – Take a short walk around San Pablo Park with your costumed friends and neighbors.

Costume Contest – Following parade – Show off your favorite costumes and compete in the categories below:

Scariest Costume: Ages 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9+, Family
Cutest Costume: Ages 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9+, Family
Most Creative: Ages 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9+, Family
Coordinated Family Costume: Family
Winners from each category (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) will receive certificates.

Neighborhood street parking is available, as well as public transit via Line 88 on the Sacramento bus line.
