Event Details

Located in the Latino Room inside SF Main Public Library. The event includes a partial screening of the documentary, “Free to Speak,” featuring an interview with Nadine Strossen (former head of the ACLU) was produced by the Free to Choose Network. Following the screening will be a panel discussion with journalist Erica Sandberg of Bay Area Beat; journalist Leighton Woodhouse, who co-founded Public, a Substack with Michael Shellenberger; and two members of the UC Berkeley Heterodox Academy, Professor Julia Schaletzky, Executive Director, Center for Emerging and Neglected Diseases, and Utkarsh Jain, candidate, CA State Assembly District 14 and Chair, California College Republicans Alumni Association.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Cynthia Cravens, candidate for California State Senate District 11.
