Event Details

The San Mateo County History Museum continues its “FREE First Fridays” program on June 7, 2024. Not only is admission free the entire day (10 a.m. until 4 p.m.), but two programs are planned for the public without any fees. At 11 a.m., preschoolers can join Museum staff and learn about the giant Maverick’s wave on the San Mateo County coast. They will paint their own starfish. Then Museum staff will conduct a reading within its Maverick’s Gallery. There the youngsters will hear the story, Hello Ocean. At 2p.m., Museum docents will lead tours of the museum for adults.

The “Free First Fridays” program is sponsored by Monterra Credit Union. For more information contact www.historysmc.org or 650-299-0104.
