October 2024 Cartooning for Kids

Students learn a variety of introductory skills in each workshop, with subjects ranging from creating characters to writing stories to creating their own comic strips in a playful format.

The attendance fee for each student is collected through your online reservation payment. The attendance fee covers the cost of logistics and staffing to make these programs possible.

These workshops are recommended for students from 7-13 years old. Students under the age of 7 or over the age of 13 will not be admitted into the workshop without prior approval.

If you have made a reservation and you will not make it to the workshop, please call to cancel as soon as possible.

Things to Note:

If your kid has a special need or needs please inform us along with your RSVP so that we can better serve your kid. Also, parents do not normally participate these workshops. If you would like to attend workshops with your kid please stay tuned for announcements on future Family Cartooning workshops or inquire about private lessons.

Cancellation: All participants must be pre-paid prior to the day of the workshop. Full refunds given with 3 days cancellation notice (Wednesday) prior to the day of the workshop. No refunds given for notice within 2 days (Thursday, Friday) prior to the first day of the workshop or on the day of the workshop. For those signing up for multiple dates the cancellation policy applies to each date individually and refunds are prorated at the discretion of the Cartoon Art Museum.
