The Mission District comes alive on the Day of the Dead!
Celebrate Día de los Muertos in an authentic way. Mission Lotería Tours is the only Mission tours experience that is San Francisco native-led and native-created!
Learn about the ritual that is Día de los Muertos and what it means to those that celebrate it. Admire murals and altars as we explore the Mission District from a unique perspective.
Our time together will start at Artillery Ceramics, where you will create your own clay offering keepsake with the guidance and support of Artillery’s expert ceramicists.
We’ll then venture out and explore the Mission before visiting a few artisanal gift shops, including Mixocatl and La Reyna Bakery.
We’ll stop by 24th BART Plaza where you can purchase sugar skulls and other trinkets and then end our tour back at Artillery.
Your tour guide will be Eric Curry, an experienced local guide that lives in the Mission and has led some of the most popular tours in San Francisco.
