San Francisco finally got its brand new Japanese bowling center.

A new Round1 Bowling & Arcade which originally opened in Japan back in 1993 opened up a new bowling complex with 12 lanes in Stonestown Galleria. The location also features karaoke, and arcade and billiards

Grand Opening Update! Round1 at Stonestown finally opened on November 9, 2024 at 10am with the first 300 people in line receiving Round1 swag.

  • Open 7 days a week – 10am to 2am
  • 285 Winston Dr., SF Space No. B1 (Stonestown Galleria) – Please enter through the Target parking structure.
  • Bowling Prices – Round1 Bowling at Stonestown offers 60-minute lane rentals ranging from $25 to $37.50, with shoe rentals at $4.50 per person. Weekdays before 4 p.m. are the most affordable, with 1-hour lane rental at $25 or individual games at $6.50. Evenings, Fridays, and weekends have higher rates, such as $37.50 per lane for 1 hour, or $9 per person per game. For longer play, 90- or 120-minute blocks range from $15 to $36 per person, depending on the day and time.
  • Stonestown does not appear to have the VIP Interactive lanes like at other Round1s
  • $3.99 drink specials – Round1 offers $3.99 bud light, Moscow mules and wine all day, every day – but cryptically says “selection and availability may vary by location”

There are over 100 Round1s in Japan and over 50 Round1s in the U.S.

At some Round1 locations, they have “Spark” Bowling – an immersive bowling experience with a lane that’s an interactive video screen. Let’s hope Spark shows up at Stonestown.

Round1 will take over the old Nordstrom location which closed over four years ago, and will offer state-of-the-art entertainment the whole family can enjoy including bowling, karaoke, arcade games, billiards, darts, ping pong, food, and much more.
