SF Family Bike Fest: Bike Ride & Block Party

The SF Family Bike Fest – gives families a safe opportunity to bike with other families on a set route through the mission.

Join for a one-to-two-hour bicycle ride for adult rider and kid passenger(s), or for adult and kid riders. A predetermined route offers fun family activities at 5 to 8 checkpoints along the ride. At the end, please join for a family-friendly block party on Harrison street, in front of Flynn Elementary School (at Precita Park).

Every team is required to have registration for at least one adult (donation recommended, but not mandatory). All kids ride free!

Safety Info: Helmets on all participants required! The challenge is on roads with cars and other people. You are responsible for being safe and for the safety of people around you. Make sure your bike or bikes are in safe working condition and follow the rules of the road.
All participants must fill out a waiver at registration.

About Leonard R. Flynn:
Leonard R. Flynn is a public elementary school on the edge of the Mission District & Bernal Heights. Our children come from diverse communities throughout the city. Over 65% are from low income families, and over 40% are English Language Learners. The PTA provides funding for a wide range of programs from physical education to the garden program, arts programs, and is playing an increasingly large role in funding necessities for the school such as teacher grants, books, supplies, and technology for all classrooms & teachers.
