You don’t want to miss this sweet Sunday matinee performance. This is our annual Spring show with James Nash and I doing our duo set. Expect vocal harmonies and plenty of picking. When we get going, something magical happens.
James is the band-leader of the critically acclaimed group The Waybacks. He’s know for his guitar prowess as well as the energy and positivity he brings to every performance.
James and I have been at work in the studio, releasing two new singles over the last 6 months, that you’ll get to hear live. My new songs delve deeper into story-telling and my outsider perspective on our ever-changing world.
If the stories don’t get you the rhyming will, and in any case once James starts riffing, your cares will melt away.
New songs along with your favorite songs from our album.
Maggie Forti’s beautiful voice and wonderful songwriting will kick off the evening, accompanied by the inimitable Jeff Hobbs. Maggie is a Bay Area favorite, founder of Wildcat Canyon, the cherished all-female singer-songwriter collective. She has performed far and wide, including at the High Sierra Music Festival Troubadour Sessions. She’ll regale us with her soulful, gorgeous vocals that music critic Derk Richardson referred to as a “soaring, sometimes gospel-tinged voice which hints of Maria Muldaur and Rickie Lee Jones.”
The Lost Church is San Francisco’s premiere singer-songwriter and local performance venue. This is an early show (doors at 4, show at 4:40) so you’ll have plenty of time to take a stroll around North Beach, grab a bite or a drink after the show. The Lost Church also has refreshments so come early and see if you run into anyone you know before the show–or better invite friends to join you for a fun, relaxed evening of Americana music and excellent song-craft.
