Event Details

Join us at 836M for the reading of the cartoon anthology created by our 2023 comic artists-in-residence Rina Ayuyang (co-curator), Tyler Cohen, Janelle Hessig, and Thien Pham.

During their four-month exhibition and residency in 2023, they created a new work on the theme of the history of San Francisco’s neighborhoods, past, present, and future. The book has been published and is ready to be heard by eager ears. If you’re a comic book lover or enjoy learning about the City’s history, you don’t want to miss this event. Admission is free with RSVP.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
