“All Roads Lead to Bach”
The degrees of separation between Bach and other top composers of the High Baroque period were few indeed. Who was godfather to Bach’s son? Whose music did Bach devour and “rearrange” as his own? Who died at the hands of the same quack responsible for Bach’s death? Who were the other candidates for a job that Bach landed – as the THIRD choice? Music of these composers are brought together for the Peralta Consort’s 2025 concert season.
