“Sunday Funday” Monthly Drag Brunch at The Detour (SF)

Join us every 4th Sunday of the month for Sunday Funday Drag Brunch: the Castro’s tastiest new brunch, served hot!

 

  • Leave your inhibitions at the door: This Sunday is anything but a day of rest, so join us for a wild, one-a-kind afternoon with a rotating cast of the  Bay Area’s brightest stars of drag, burlesque, music, and comedy. Whether you’re a drag superfan or just looking to make your Sunday a little more fabulous, you’ll find what you’re looking for right here at The Detour. 

 

  • Check us out: It might be back to school season but summer in San Francisco is just starting to heat up! Our headmistress for the day is The Detour’s very own queen of chaos Fran Zaya, who brings you full staff of SF drag legends: You’ll be seeing things like you’ve never seen them before when Yayah the Artist drops in for a lesson in art(haus). We’ll do a little drag math with the iconic two-in-one queen Aurris x Lillith, who will have you seeing double! Our very own gym class hero Tila Pia will have you on your feet, up in the air, and moving like you just don’t care. And don’t forget your permission slips, because our tip kitten Fullout Fritzie will take you on a field trip that’s fully out of this world.

 

  • You’ll love the taste: Enjoy cocktails, mimosas, and our full pan-Pacific food menu, with tasty exclusive brunch dishes and drink specials that you can only get during the show! Whether it’s your first time or you’re a Detour regular, there will be something new for you to touch your tastebuds to! 
  • Get ready to play with your hands: Enjoy our full selection of classic arcade games, board games, and Nintendo Switch games after the show. You might even get a chance to play with the cast as you keep the party going! After all, your Sunday Funday is just getting started.

Doors open at 11:00am, and the drag show starts at 12pm sharp.
Regular service continues at 2pm, following this exclusive event.

This event is 21+ Please bring a valid ID with your date of birth.
General admission $10 per person.
(and don’t forget to bring cash for tips!)
