Psyched! Fest 2025 is locked for two full weeks, October 24–November 2, and it remains exactly what it set out to be: immigrant-founded, volunteer-run, fiercely DIY, radically inclusive, and proudly rooted in the Bay Area underground.
This year brings well over one hundred bands, DJs, visual artists, poets, comics, and makers into the same living circuit—neighbors and travelers building a temporary city of sound, sweat, tenderness, and revolt.
From chandeliers to basements, from velvet curtains to plywood risers, we’re throwing open the doors for the artists who make this scene feel alive: The Dandy Warhols, Shannon and the Clams, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Drab Majesty, Acid King, Vondré, Pink Breath of Heaven, Magic Castles, Diles Que No Me Maten, Amantes del Futuro, Snoflakez, Kelley Stoltz, Vivian Girls, Mengers and more—voices that carry fuzz and elegance, catharsis and joy, ritual and dance.
The journey moves through the rooms that raised us and the corners we’re still growing into: Regency Ballroom, Great American Music Hall, The Warfield, Make Out Room, The Knockout, Kilowatt, Mabuhay Gardens, Bottom of the Hill, Delirium, Mothership, Crybaby, Paname, Thrillhouse Records, Rickshaw Stop, 4 Star Theatre, Specs’ 12 Adler Museum Café, The Café, The Function, Psyched! Radio Studios, The Roxie Theater, The Parkside, and Cornerstone. Some nights are wall-to-wall sweat; others glow in quiet light. Every night is community.
We believe festivals can be built the hard way—by people, not algorithms; by care, not clout. We pay attention, we share stages, we lift each other. If you’ve ever found a new favorite band by accident, danced with a stranger who became family, or felt a lyric change your week, this is your invitation. 31 shows. Two weeks. Many neighborhoods. One family. Bring your friends, your earplugs, your best outfit, and your open heart.
