Event Details

The son of a Disney animator, Mouse was born in Detroit in 1940. He first made a name for himself pinstriping hot rods and designing monster shirts in the 1950s as a key figure in the emerging Kustom Kulture scene.
After moving to San Francisco in 1965, he met Alton Kelley, a founding-member of the Family Dog collective. Together, they created some of the most loved images in rock history infusing Art Nouveau and Victorian typography, creating a visual psychedelic  language that became emblematic of the times.
Six decades strong, Stanley Mouse continues from that same energetic wellspring we’ve loved and cherished, delighting us with more Hot Rods, Monsters, Abstracts and Skulls and Roses.
Come by this Saturday and say hello to a legend.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
