The Peninsula Rose Society is delighted to host award winning photographer, Betty Mott for a photography workshop!
Betty will share the techniques she uses to create show-winning rose images, whether your shooting with a phone or camera. She also shares real-world tips she’s learned through the years of photographing roses –what works, what doesn’t and how small adjustments can turn a “nice photo” into a standout image.

Betty Mott is a retired educator and has been actively serving the rose community for over 30 years. She is a Master Rosarian, ARS Horticultural Judge, and Photography Judge. She has served on multiple committees and leadership in the Marin Rose Society, NCNH District, and the American Rose Society. Betty has received the ARS Bronze Honor Medal and ARS Silver Honor Medal for providing meritorious service through the ARS NCNH district. She has received multiple awards for her roses and rose photography, and currently serves as the Photography Judges Chair for the NCNH.
