Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a full weekend of laughs at The Function, San Francisco’s intimate comedy club and cocktail bar on Market Street. Our Cinco de Mayo Comedy Festival brings together a lineup of top Latino comedians for three nights of high-energy shows, plus a special holiday edition on Cinco de Mayo itself.

Join us for shows on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2 with 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM performances each night, featuring some of the Bay Area’s funniest Latino comics. Then on Tuesday, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo), we’re hosting a special one-night-only show at 7:30 PM, plus happy hour specials all night long.

Festival Lineup & Details (May 1–2 & May 5)

  • Friday, May 1: 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM shows
  • Saturday, May 2: 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM shows
  • Tuesday, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo): 7:30 PM special show + ALL NIGHT HAPPY HOUR
  • Featuring top Latino comedians from the Bay Area
  • Happy hour specials all night on Tuesday, May 5 including deals on Mexican lagers, tequila cocktails, and mezcal cocktails

About The Function
The Function is San Francisco’s comedy club built for a true live experience, with an up-close setting, craft cocktails, and a lively crowd.

  • Arrive early for the best seating and to grab drinks before the show
  • Seating is limited and shows often sell out
  • Two-drink minimum per person during shows
