In commemoration of the United Nations’ International Day of Peace, come hear Bay Area musical groups from multiple faith traditions perform at Presidio’s Main Post from 6-9 pm on September 21, 2013.
Free, but an RSVP is required online or by calling (415) 447-6274.
Musical groups from around the Bay Area from multiple faith traditions will perform, including Hindu, Brahma Kumaris, Christian, Interfaith, Jewish, and Muslim.
Additionally, the Presidio’s United Religions Initiative will present their “Talking Back to Hate” campaign, an initiative that engages communities to build bridges of acceptance and understanding and to speak out together against acts of hate, discrimination, and bullying.
The music starts at 7:30 pm at the Golden Gate Club. The Presidio Chapel, located nearby, will be open from 6-7 pm for those who wish to take a tour of the recently-renovated space or have quiet time before the event.
