Event Details

Author Richard Cohen went all over the globe to 18 countries and found out that the Sun is present everywhere—in mythology, language, religion, sciences, art, literature, medicine and even in the ocean depths.

Now there’s a documentary based on Chasing the Sun: The Epic Story of the Star That Gives Us Life in which Cohen takes us on adventures around the globe seeking to illuminate our relationship with the star that gives us life. Reporting from locations in eighteen different countries, including the Novolazarevskaya science station in Antarctica (the coldest place on Earth). Book signing follows the screening.
