Walking Tree Tour with Scenic Stairways | Inner Sunset

Talk about using your resources: a local tree expert is using a local stairwalking guide to create a great experience for us all.

Friends of the Urban Forest invites you on a free walking Tree Tour of the Golden Gate Heights neighborhood.

The two-hour walk will be led by certified arborist Ellyn Shea, and will include 16th Avenue’s beautiful mosaic stairway and other sites featured in Adah Bakalinsky’s book, Stairway Walks in San Francisco.

Come prepared to traverse many steps.

Meet rain or shine at 16th Avenue and Moraga Street (accessible via Muni buses 28 and 66), which will also be the end-point of the tour.
