Sunday, April 5th Original Famous Twang Sundays welcomes The Proofs, and dinnerwiththekids to Thee Parkside.

The Proofs are a soulful folk inspired band from San Francisco. Their tunes will ease your weary soul from the burdens of the city and take your mind out to the pasture where it can be soothed by the sounds of the country.

Dinnerwiththekids was originally conceived and created in Detroit by frontman, Nick Poulos, after many variations of styles, states and miles of movement, dinnerwiththekids found its grounding in San Francisco when Nick met Michelle Louise and the harmonies fell into place. The two began as an acoustic folk/country duo, but soon attracted other musicians that shared their passion to create a country/bluegrass sound unique upon itself. Hard to categorize, dinnerwiththekids draws on a variety of influences from Tom Waits to Earl Scruggs, Americana to gypsy punk. Every show offers up a unique set from their vast library of original tunes. One minute, they’ll make you want to jump up and dance, the next, you just might shed a tear. DWTK shows are an experience you won’t want to miss.
