Manna Gallery is pleased to present ”Second Nature”, an exhibition of works by Donna Day Westerman. Donna’s masterful woodcuts, etchings and tempera paintings will be on view from August 14 through September 19. A reception for Donna will take place on Third Thursday, August 20, from 6 to 8 pm, when she will be present to greet gallery visitors.
Donna has had a long and successful career as a master printmaker and educator. She has been an Artist in Residence at Kala in Berkeley and President of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society. Her work will be at the 2015 Venice Biennale as part of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society Exchange exhibition. She was a professor and department chair at Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, California for many years who received an “Innovator of the Year” award for establishing the first computer graphics program in a college art department in the nation.
