Event Details

For one night only, 31 theaters across the country and Canada — some of them funded with Kickstarter — will be screening and hosting their biggest festival yet. In San Francisco, the fest will be screened at Roxie Theater in the Mission District from 7-9 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

They combed through thousands of the features, documentaries, and shorts funded on Kickstarter to pick out an incredible program for you — including hits from Sundance, groundbreaking animation, and one knockout documentary. Best of all, it’s completely free.

Afronauts (13 min)

World of Tomorrow (16 min)
This stunning, award-winning animated short introduces us to Emily as she gets a startling visit from her future (cloned) self.

Submarine Sandwich (2 min)
The strangest sandwich we’ve ever seen. In stop-motion animation.

T-Rex (91 min)
The true story of a teenage girl — Claressa “T-Rex” Shields — who becomes the first woman to box for gold in the 2012 Olympics.
