Picture Book Surgery: Children’s Book Club Meet-up presented by members of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators

What makes a great picture book? It’s time for you to find out. They’ll dissect your favorite picture books and study every possible angle. They’ll go on a book hunt through the bookstore, and then Binish up with some time to write down or sketch about what they’ve learnt. This is the perfect event for author/illustrators looking forward to meet some colleagues, discover new books, and learn more about the craft. Authors interested in illustration, illustrators interested in writing, and people interested in the picture book-making process are also welcome.
