Tiny Science, Big Questions
If you use sunscreen, you’ve probably benefitted from the use of nanotechnology in medicine. But did you know there was nano in your SPF 20? Would it matter to you if you did?

We’ll start off with some Nano 101, covering the science and some of its ethical implications, and then break into small groups for discussion. No knowledge of nanotechnology is required, just an open mind and a desire to engage in lively conversation with others.

WHEN: Weds, March 24, 7:00 pm
WHERE: Bazaar Cafe, 5927 California St. (21st Ave) San Francisco
COST: Admission is free, but please support our generous hosts at Bazaar Cafe by bringing your appetite and enjoying a bite to eat during the event.
