NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences is held every Thursday night with discounted admission of just $12. Each week the Academy features: music, cutting-edge science, and food and cocktails, but with a completely new lineup of events each week.
March 25, 2010: “The Science of Love”
A presentation with Scientific American at 7:30 pm.
In a fun and engaging discussion, Scientific American Editor-in-Chief Mariette DiChristina and distinguished psychology professor and researcher Dr. Robert Epstein will take you through the psychological, physiological, chemical and social effects of love, including the latest science on fostering emotional intimacy.
Free copies of the January/February issue of Scientific American Mind, featuring the “Fall in Love” cover story will be available at NightLife.
