Back for it’s 39th year, Turkey Trot 2013: Americana Music Feast features a tasty menu of hot and fresh Americana music.
It’s like what Grandma used to make, only edgier, grittier, and way more drunkard.
2013 Turkey Trot Lineup
- Coffin Hunter is the brainchild of Jack Gibson, long time bass player for thrash metal icon Exodus. It comes out of his love for playing banjo and love of vintage Nashville music.
- James Nash is an accomplished guitarist who is as at home with Charlie Parker and Bill Monroe as he is with Django Reinhardt and Jimi Hendrix, embracing the potential challenges of playing multiple genres with both joy and aplomb.
- The Highway Poets are a fine blend of American roots music with modern style and edge.
- Secret Town delivers their own brand of original Americana/Folk/Rock music – part country, part alt-country, part kick-ass country.
