Opening Reception for Artist Ashley Nickels.

A body of work from her original Watercolor Quilting technique,”Writer’s Blocks” by Ashley Nickels mixes typography, free-motion quilting, and storytelling.

Ashley’s observations and thoughts on life, herself, and this fascinating world are uniquely expressed in her work through vibrant paint colors, words in block print quilting, and an accompanying vignette.
