The original Hof-Brau of San Francisco, Tommy’s Joynt has become one of the city’s longest living institutions. Start the night off with some grub to soak up those suds with a buffet style set-up offering Corned Beef, Sloppy Joes, Hickory Baked Beans, and plenty more options for under $10.

Come time for a drink, Tommy’s divides their extensive beer menu by country from El Salvador to Poland (and everything in between). You can score a bottle or draft starting at $2.75 to get your night started right.

There’s not much going on for New Year’s Eve. Yes, they’re open until 2 am, but don’t expect any champagne toasts or party favors; instead consider this to be a great place to start your night or grab some late night grub after your ring in the New Year.
