Santa Rosa’s 150th Anniversary Celebration | North Bay

From 3pm to 10pm Santa Rosa will celebrate its 150th Birthday – can you say “Sesquicentennial”?

On that Saturday, in Courthouse Square there will be live music from local bands, children’s activities, food vendors, historical displays, speeches, burying of the new time capsule, information from community partners, ending with an outdoor movie shown in the Square at 8pm. The winner of the youth art contest will be also be displayed and the winner of the writing contest will read the winning entry.

The time capsule will continue to reside in the vault until 2068, Santa Rosa’s Bicentennial.

• 3:00 – 7:00 – Car Show Over the Decades
• 3:00 – 7:30 – Food Booths, Community Booths and Kid’s Activities
• 3:00 – Dallas Caroline (local that performed on The Voice)
• 3:15 – Native Youth Pomo Dance Group
• 3:45 – Sonoma County Taiko Drummers
• 4:00 – Announcement of School Contest Winners
• 4:30 –Cantares de Mi Tierra de LBC
• 5:00 – Time and Materials Band
• 5:30 – Sonoma County Fashion Through The Decades (fashion show by Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery)
