2026 Hearts in San Francisco at the Ferry Building
Jan. 24 – Feb. 11, 2026 – SF (Ferry Building) – FREE – Head to the Ferry Building to see 21 one-of-a-kind heart sculptures by local artists, on public display before heading to auction to benefit Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
2026 Napa Lighted Art Festival
January 17 – February 15, 2026 – Napa – FREE – This walkable outdoor experience is free in Downtown Napa featuring 15 lighted art sculptures for five weeks and projection artwork on three iconic downtown buildings for the first nine nights of the festival.
2026 White Elephant Sale in a 90,000+ Sq Ft. Warehouse
Jan. 25 – Mar. 1, 2026 – Oakland – FREE (from 1-2pm on Open Warehouse Days; $7 general admission; free all day on the Clearance Weekend, Feb. 28 & Mar. 1, 2026; $50 on Preview Day Jan. 25) – At Northern California’s oldest and largest rummage sale, find a curated selection of one-of-a kind treasures from almost 20 departments in a warehouse nearly twice the size of a football field.
Super Bowl LX Week in the Bay Area
February 2-8, 2026 – All Over the Bay Area – Some events are free, others ticketed – Super Bowl LX is coming to the Bay Area with the big game in Santa Clara, plus a weeklong wave of Super Bowl frenzy featuring fan events, concerts, interactive experiences, and plenty of watch parties to catch the game with fellow fans.
SF’s Vietnamese New Year Tet Festival 2026
February 7, 2026 – SF (Tenderloin) – FREE – Celebrate Lunar New Year with lion and dragon dances, live performances, authentic Vietnamese food, local vendors, and cultural activities at this free, family-friendly community event for all ages.
SF’s “Lovers Lane” Valentine’s Block Party 2026
February 14, 2026 – SF (Mission Dist.) – FREE – This free, all ages Valentine’s Day block party in the Mission features live music, DJs, kids activities, local art, food vendors, lowriders, and community programming across Balmy Alley and 24th Street.
The Great San Francisco Valentine’s Day Pillow Fight 2026?
February 14, 2026 – SF (Embarcadero Plaza) – FREE – Feathers fly at this fun, unofficial flash-mob type event which typically takes place annually on Valentine’s Day. The event is always tentative – there could be 1,000 people; there could be zero people. Show up with a pillow in hand, and get ready for a pillow fight.
San Francisco’s 2026 Chinese New Year Flower Market Fair
Feb. 14-15, 2026 – SF (Chinatown) – FREE – Celebrate Chinese New Year at the annual Flower Market Fair by shopping 120+ booths of flowers, fruits, candies, and festive home goods, while enjoying live performances from magicians, acrobats, folk dancers, and Chinese opera all weekend long.
World Naked Bike Ride Through SF: February’s Love Parade 2026
February 14, 2026 – SF (Meet at Rincon Park) – FREE – Go as “bare as you dare” for a unique “Lover’s Ride” through San Francisco.
2026 North Beach Mardi Gras Parade
February 14, 2026 – SF (North Beach) – Free to watch the parade – Get out your handkerchiefs and join a lively Mardi Gras Second Line through North Beach featuring a New Orleans–born brass band, ending at Tupelo where $20 tickets include drink specials and a menu of N’awlins staples included in the price.
Free National Parks Day: President’s Day 2026
February 16, 2026 – All National Parks – FREE – In honor of President’s Day, enjoy free entry to all national parks and monuments including Muir Woods, Pinnacles, and Yosemite National Park.
SF’s 2026 “Mardi Gras Crawl” Through the Mission + Festival
February 17, 2026 – All Over the Mission – FREE – Come meet your neighbors and make new friends at our 2026 Carnaval San Francisco Mardi Gras Celebration in several Mission District venues. Enjoy live samba drummers, dance performances, and lively music from soca to cumbia and rumba. Wear your costumes, masks & beads.
SF’s 20th Annual Mardi Gras & Fat Tuesday Parade & Festival in the Fillmore
February 17, 2026 – Fillmore Center Plaza – FREE – Celebrate San Francisco’s 20th annual Fat Tuesday in the Fillmore with a lively Second Line parade led by MJ Brass Boppers, followed by a free community blues concert in the Fillmore Center Plaza.
Noise Pop 2026
February 19 – March 1, 2026 – SF (All Over SF) – Noise Pop Badge $300 badge; individual tix for show also available; free Happy Hour shows – San Francisco’s 11-day festival features 160+ bands across 25+ San Francisco venues, celebrating independent music and arts. Catch free Happy Hour shows, Feb. 24-28 at Bender’s.
SF’s “Red Bull Showrun”: Formula 1 Race Car Street Show
February 21, 2026 – SF (Marina) – FREE – A free street show featuring high speed Formula 1 cars, burnouts, and drifting takes over San Francisco.
San Francisco Beer Week 2026
Feb. 20 – Mar. 1, 2026 – All Over SF – FREE (Many events are free; some events are paid – prices vary) – Celebrate independent craft beers and those who brew them featuring typically 250+ events throughout the 10 days of SF Beer Week usually including trivia nights, comedy shows, special releases, and much more.
