2020 Independence Day Celebration has been Canceled: The City of Cupertino has canceled its annual Independence Day Celebration due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and extended Stay-at-Home and Shelter-in-Place Orders.
After a year off, for Independence Day 2019, Cupertino once again hosts their annual small town Fourth of July fireworks show with viewing locations at four different parks in the city.
Gather for viewing the fireworks at Creekside Community Church, Creekside Park, Sedgwick Elementary and Miller Avenue (between Bollinger & Phil). The fireworks will be launched from Hyde Middle School at approximately 9:30 pm.
Please note that this is a small community fireworks show and likely can’t accommodate large crowds and parking may be a nightmare. If you’re not from Cupertino you should consider passing and visiting one of the larger fireworks show.
