542364686_1e325851f2[1]Confirmed for 12/31/09! Ring in 2010 with 200,000 fellow bundled-up San Franciscans for a waterfront fireworks tradition as the city is once again hosting a free waterfront midnight fireworks show on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2009.

About the Fireworks Show: Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, who also produce the annual KFOG KaBoom and fireworks shows for both the SF Giants and Oakland A’s, is producing the 15 minute midnight fireworks display for the 10th year in a row.

The fireworks will launch from barges located 1,000 feet out in the bay just south of the Ferry Building near Pier 14 (Mission Street and The Embarcadero).

Best Viewing Location: Along the Embarcadero between Mission and Folsom Street.  Please note that there will be no live entertainment or DJ associated with the fireworks display.
