Brand New Robin Williams Mural Pops Up in East Bay
A beautiful new mural has popped up in the East Bay dedicated to the late comic Robin Williams.
Thanks to SFGate for sharing the news of this beautiful tribute which you can find in the Bay Street Shopping Center in Emeryville in the former Old Navy location.
The mural was commissioned by Three Thirty Three Arts, and painted by artist Keene Visions who told SFGATE, “I wanted to pay tribute to someone from the Bay Area and also open the conversation about mental health and mental wellness and be able to speak to that. Even if one person saw that message and it prompted them to make a call or reach out to someone and help then, then I’d consider this one a win.”
The mural also features another Bay Area legend, Bruce Lee.
You may have seen another popular piece by the artist recently, who painted a mural of the viral Tik Tok star Nathan Apodaca aka 420doggface208 sipping his signature Oceanspray juice, in the Lower Haight.
