Event Details

Come join us for a family friendly Community Event on Sunday, June 27 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at Liberation Park located at 73rd Ave. and Foothill Blvd.

Help us celebrate the installation of 52 Peace In The Streets pole banners installed on International Blvd from 73rd Avenue to 86th Avenue. These banners were created by Oakland community members promoting community building and peace. This interactive event, co-hosted by the Black Cultural Zone will feature art activities for the whole family, youth speakers, community resources, and an array of Oakland-based violence prevention organizations. Highlights include an exhibition of Vision Quilt panels that are now 52 street banners in East Oakland!
