Event Details

As we emerge from a difficult year, we are so proud to say that in a year where we were all pulled apart, our learning community came together to ensure their children did not suffer from lost learning, developmental delays or instability, and that families were able to access the critical resources they needed. Our families engaged in early learning and parent education to continue their children’s academic and social/emotional development, refusing to accept a “lost year” and pressing forward. Family Connections continues to resource families, supporting increased knowledge about COVID-19 vaccines and how to access them, while honing in on mental health and social-emotional learning to help families adjust and reintegrate.

We invite you to join us for Unprecedented: Kids Thriving through Crisis, a roundtable featuring Family Connections’ in-house Mental Health Clinician Stephanie Loera, MSW and Gloria Moskowitz-Sweet, MSW, School Social Worker and Developer of Social Emotional Learning Curriculum, discussing families’ needs during the pandemic and importantly, during this emergence into the new normal.
