Join us at Lands End for the next queer and trans community day! It’s not quite Pollinator Week, but getting close, so we’re taking this opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our beloved winged friends. We’ll share some delights about our native insects (we’re going beyond the European honeybee!), play a guessing game called “Am I a Bee” (it’s harder than you think), do some weeding in the sand dunes to support our native plants and their pollinating insect comrades, and enjoy each others’ company. We’ll have snacks as usual!
Accessibility details: This event is fully outdoors, so masks will be optional, but please tune into the others around you and mask up when approaching anyone else wearing a mask. The current work project requires walking down a few stairs and on some uneven terrain, but we are happy to modify work based on your access needs. Please reach out!
