Free Art Party: Year of the Snake Closing Show w/ Live DJ (111 Minna)

Come visit 111 Minna Gallery on Thursday, January 8th from 7pm till late to see our ‘Year Of The Snake’ Closing Party with several of the 40 participating artists in attendance! Curated by San Francisco’s Seventh Son Tattoo, this exhibition honors the Chinese Zodiac lunar animal; artists explore the symbolism of renewal, mystery, and power through a collection of snake-inspired works. ‘Year Of The Snake’ is the third Seventh Son Tattoo exhibition at 111 Minna gallery celebrating the Chinese zodiac, following the two previous successful installments: “Year of the Dragon” (2024) and “Year of the Tiger” (2023). This closing party will feature live music by DJ Keybumps (@htlee666).

Year Of The Snake is an exhibition inspired by the serpent, a timeless representation of transformation. Honoring the lunar year animal, artists in this group exhibition will explore the symbolism of renewal, mystery, and power through a collection of snake-inspired works. This marks the third collaborative exhibition between 111 Minna Gallery and Seventh Son Tattoo, bringing together tattoo artistry and contemporary fine art in one striking showcase.
This collection, curated by Seventh Son Tattoo owner / tattoo artist Luke Stewart, features illustrations and paintings crafted by over 40 local and international tattoo artists from the shop’s network. It follows the now-established tradition of celebrating the Chinese zodiac, with the two previous shows “Year Of The Dragon” (2024) and “Year Of The Tiger” (2023) having been hugely successful.
