Is you backyard full of weedy dirt begging for some attention? Learn to grow and maintain your own sustainable garden in the Dig in San Francisco workshop, offered free by the city’s Department of Public Works.

• Learn about composting, planting and maintenance techniques.
• See demonstrations from a guest chef on how to cook fresh garden vegetables.
