NightLife’s Summer Concert Series kicks off featuring San Francisco favorites Rykarda Parasol, and Silver Swans in the East Gardens, brought to you by Popscene and Tricycle Records. Often compared to the likes of Nick Cave and The Velvet Underground, Rykarda Parasol’s music personifies both swamp and sophistication, often termed “Rock Noir.” The electro dream-pop project that is the Silver Swans captures the eerie dramatics of The Knife and the syrupy darkness of Ladytron to build a dynamic, exultant sound all their own. DJ Jeff Stallings and Aaron Axelsen join the mix, spinning between live music sets. (21+)
