Tango In The Square: Free Concert & Dance Lessons | Union Square

Tango in the Square is part of the Union Square Live concert series and takes place over three Sundays, from August 25, September 1 and 8, 2013 with a live band.

Arrive early for free introductory dance lessons by professional dance instructors and stay for the open dance floor during the band’s live set.

Redwood Tango Ensemble is a quintet in the San Francisco bay area, dedicated to playing traditional and original tango music. The group plays transcriptions and adaptations of the classic orchestras led by Francisco Canaro, Juan D’Arienzo, Osvaldo Pugliese, Anibal Troilo, Julian Plaza etc, as well as original compositions and nuevo-tango from around the world.
