SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025
The 2025 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with La Santa Cecilia to kick off its 25th Anniversary Season.

Blues and the Pursuit of Freedom | SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025Jazz composer Marcus Shelby continues his repertoire of original work relating to U.S. history and social justice. His latest work, Blues and the Pursuit of Freedom for the 15-member Marcus Shelby Orchestra, is an all-encompassing piece about the role and history of the blues and its relationship to freedom movements in American history.
The Healdsburg Freedom Jazz Choir is made possible by the Healdsburg Jazz Festival and the James Irvine Foundation.
