2019 Summer Solstice Celebration | Berkeley

Join  the weekend prior to Summer Solstice for a community ritual, picnic, and BBQ. The ritual will be at Live Oak Park in North Berkeley, where they have reserved a BBQ area.

2019 Summer Solstice Celebration

There will be seasonal magic, welcome the Summer in a celebratory way, and share songs. Word is that we might even sing “Summertime” by the Gershwins. There will have a BBQ grill going post-ritual – it will probably be a single omnivore grill.

Reclaiming is an inclusive tradition – welcoming all sorts of Reclaiming-friendly folks. No prior ritual experience necessary. Kids circle will be part of this ritual – email us with questions or ideas.

Bring layered clothing, food for yourself and to share; plate & cup & utensils; drums and other instruments; a cardtable if possible.

Please no drugs or alcohol before or during the event. Dogs on leash (park rules).
